The website of 3D Platform was incredibly outmoded and lacked e-commerce functionality. Plego had to redesign the website from the ground up and then enable eCommerce functionality in order to allow 3DP to sell their products and accessories direct to the customer via their website. The site needed to have a fresh new look that set itself above its competitors in a new and up and coming industry.

Solution

Plego designed and developed an eCommerce website via WordPress and WooCommerce. We separated the site into functional sections that allowed users to browse the site according to their specific purpose.

For users interested in looking for new models or parts, there was the Products Section.

A filament selector was created to allow users to find their accessories in the most user friendly and intuitive manner.

Additionally, a Resources section was created for users looking for materials regarding 3DP or their products.

Why 3DP and News sections were created for new customers who wanted to learn more about the company.

Additionally, we created Contact Us, Support and Configure & Quote for a more involved outreach between the user and 3DP.

Find a reseller featured an interactive Map that allowed the user to search for resellers in their area anywhere around the world.
