The time had come for Advocate Construction to refresh their website. Their previous website, built in 2015 also by Plego, had been extremely successful. However, with the advances in web technology in the past 4 years, Advocate felt it was time to incorporate additional features onto a new site. Features such as autoplay video backgrounds, parallax scrolling, sticky headers, slide out mobile headers, and a more interactive overall mobile experience.

Solution

Plego designed and developed a brand new website via WordPress. We separated the site between their service lines and their recruiting operation. Since Advocate has a large operation of attracting new talent, they wanted to highlight working at Advocate as much as Advocate’s service offerings. The main sections of interest within the site included:

Homepage

• The home page’s primary purpose was to guide the user to the appropriate section of the website based on their primary visiting purpose.
• Potential customers were guided to the “Improve Your Home” landing page, which highlighted Advocate’s service offerings.
• Potential Hires were guided to the “Improve Your Life” section of the website which dealt with careers at Advocate.
• A drone video of an Advocate project and also a video of working at Advocate auto-played when loaded.
